CEO and Founder of B.A.S.I.C.S. International

Patricia Wilkins

“The organization was founded by Patricia Wilkins, an American born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Queens County. Prior to founding the organization, Ms Wilkins worked over seventeen years in the Fashion Industry in New York. In 1999, Ms Wilkins answered a calling to enter into the missions' field. She was led to quit a high paying job, sell off all her personal possessions and make a commitment to finance her mission through her personal savings.  “My mission is to raise these children to have hope and faith to achieve goals that will help the ongoing and future development of Africa.”  IS192’s B.A.S.I.C. Youth Ambassadors Club took a “Vow of Silence” this year to promote the end of child labor.  IS192 is extremely proud of this former IS192’er.  To read more of her endeavors please click the website listed above.
